Technical Coordinator

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Coordinator with a strong Solution Architecture background to join our client’s team and contribute to the development of a complex, enterprise-scale operational planning system. This role sits at the crossroads of business and technology, requiring close collaboration with a wide range of technical and functional stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, scalable solutions that support critical transport and operational services in a highly demanding environment.
Role Overview
As a Technical Coordinator and Solution Architect, you combine architectural vision with hands-on technical involvement. You are responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This role goes beyond documentation and design: you actively contribute to troubleshooting, API contract definition, and the successful implementation of solutions across complex integration landscapes.
Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical architectures

Design and document scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions

Ensure compliance with architecture standards and non-functional requirements

Lead and support implementation activities in line with our client’s architectural guidelines

Design and maintain REST API contracts using OpenAPI standards

Support onboarding of new business-driven changes into existing systems

Troubleshoot complex middleware integrations, including:

Performance issues

Security concerns

Bottlenecks in multi-channel integration environments

Participate in audits of supplier-delivered solutions to ensure architectural and technical compliance

Contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale, complex technical programs
Profile & Expertise

Minimum 7 years of experience in an architecture or solution design role

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with API contract definition

Strong knowledge of architecture principles, including APIs, microservices, and cloud-native design

Proven experience with Azure, integration patterns, and security best practices

Hands-on experience with middleware and integration platforms (e.g. Axway or similar tools)

Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service)

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Solid understanding of databases, data flows, and system design

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Kibana, or Grafana

Strong delivery mindset, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality
Practical Requirements

Willingness to work onsite in Belgium at least 2 days per week

Professional proficiency in English and either Dutch or French
