Technical Coordinator & Solution Architect

We’re looking for a Technical Coordinator / Solution Architect to join our client’s technology team and contribute to the design and delivery of complex planning and operational management systems. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced developers, architects, and business stakeholders to build scalable and reliable digital solutions in a fast-paced environment. The focus is on delivering modern, data-driven applications that support operational efficiency, digital services, and long-term innovation.

Role and responsibilities
As a Solution Architect / Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture and design of IT solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and operationally robust throughout their lifecycle.

• Define and oversee the architecture, design, and delivery of complex IT solutions from concept to deployment and operational support.

• Ensure solutions meet business needs while aligning with enterprise architecture standards and technical guidelines.

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and operations to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.

• Design systems with a strong focus on operability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency in both build and run environments.

• Anticipate technical risks and long-term impacts while guiding teams toward sustainable architectural decisions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of system performance, reliability, and operational readiness.

Technical profile

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in solution architecture.

• Strong experience designing scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.

• Extensive experience with integration patterns, APIs, and complex data flows.

• Solid knowledge of designing systems with operability in mind (monitoring, logging, alerting, disaster recovery, and supportability).

• Experience working in complex environments involving multiple systems and cross-functional teams.

• Professional proficiency in English and fluency in either French or Dutch.

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end architectures including build and operational environments.

• Experience with cloud or hybrid architectures (Azure or equivalent platforms).

• Good understanding of modern architecture principles such as APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of security and compliance by design.

• Experience with integration patterns including APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.

• Familiarity with databases, data flows, resilience patterns, and high availability or disaster recovery architectures.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and SRE fundamentals.

• Experience with incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Kibana, or Grafana.

Soft skills

• Strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond immediate technical solutions.

• Ability to anticipate risks and future constraints in complex systems.

• Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, structured, decision-oriented architecture documentation.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
