Temenos Solution Architect

Function

We're seeking a skilled Temenos Solution Architect to join our client’s internal centre of excellence, supporting core banking transformations across several international locations. This role is based primarily in Sofia, with an expectation of being on-site at least half of the time. As the architectural lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering robust Temenos-based solutions aligned with evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

As a key technical authority on Temenos implementations, you will:

• Serve as the go-to architect for core banking platforms, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into integrated IT solutions using the Temenos product suite.
• Act as the primary liaison between business and IT stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Stay current with Temenos’ technical and functional developments and advise on their strategic application.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with Temenos core banking solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the Temenos system architecture and its functional modules.
• Expertise in Temenos Payment Hub (TPH) and Arrangement Architecture (AA) for loans, deposits, and current accounts.
• A proven track record in the design and deployment of enterprise-grade Temenos solutions.
• Strong integration experience and the ability to navigate complex system landscapes.
• Consulting capabilities and cross-domain financial services knowledge.
• Clear communication skills and confidence in presenting to various stakeholders.
• A self-driven mindset and collaborative spirit.

Technical Skills

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

• Programming in Infobasic, Java, and JavaScript
• Application servers: jBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic
• Operating systems: Windows, RedHat Linux, IBM AIX
• Databases: MSSQL and Oracle RDBMS
• Integration frameworks and tools: Mulesoft, Apache Camel, App Connect Enterprise, Kafka
• Internet and Intranet security concepts, cryptography, firewalls
• SSO, LDAP, Active Directory
• Workflow solutions such as jBPM
• Java VM tuning and deployment artifacts (WAR/EAR)
• Web services, performance and penetration testing

Other

• Languages required: Fluency in English
• Onsite presence for 50% in Sofia, Bulgaria is required. Combined with teleworking.
