Role & Responsibilities

As a Test Consultant, you play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications within a specialized domain. You’ll work closely with analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to validate functionality and enhance system performance.

• Analyze functional specifications and clarify requirements with stakeholders when needed
• Translate business requirements into structured test strategies, scenarios, and scripts
• Execute functional tests and identify, document, and follow up on defects
• Perform regression testing to safeguard application stability
• Report on testing progress and provide clear status updates to involved parties
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and application quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business experts

Profile & Skills

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capabilities and a proactive mindset.

• Proven experience in test preparation (strategy, scripting), execution, and reporting
• Solid understanding of analyzing application specifications
• Experience with System Integration Testing (SIT) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Strong command of MS Office tools (especially Word and Excel)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Analytical, accurate, and solution-oriented approach
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile

Nice to have:

• Experience or knowledge in insurance or healthcare-related domains

Education & Languages

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent through experience
• Language requirements: English and Dutch
