Function
Our client is looking for an experienced test automation professional to help ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions used in a highly collaborative digital environment. In this role, you will combine functional and technical testing expertise to validate applications, strengthen automation coverage, and contribute to continuous improvement across the testing process.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate acceptance criteria to support effective test design.
- Set up and configure test automation tools, with a strong focus on Playwright.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute automated test scenarios using the most suitable tools based on the technology and testing needs.
- Perform functional, non-functional, and end-to-end testing, including testing with external partners.
- Track defects and issues, and produce clear test reports.
- Support team members with test effort estimation and test planning for projects.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and test deliverables.
Technical Skills
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Strong experience in UI and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and Java Spring Boot environments.
- Solid knowledge of testing processes and quality assurance practices.
- Experience testing Java services, web services, REST APIs, and proxy services.
- Experience setting up test automation scripts and working with automation tooling.
- Knowledge of Jira, Xray, and ReadyAPI is considered a plus.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Experience with Groovy, TypeScript, Git, and AI prompting in a QA context is relevant.
- Playwright is mandatory.
- Experience with API test automation is required.

Practical Information
- Work location: Brussels.
- Hybrid working model: 40% office presence and 60% homeworking.
- Friday attendance in the office is mandatory, and on-site presence is expected twice per week.
- Language requirements: fluent Dutch or French, and fluent English.
