We’re currently looking for an experienced Test Coordinator to join a major transformation program within a complex and fast-paced environment. Our client is seeking a quality-driven consultant who can lead testing activities end-to-end, coordinate distributed teams, and play a key role in improving testing maturity and delivery excellence across multiple projects. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines strong leadership skills with hands-on testing expertise and a proactive mindset.

The Role

As Test Coordinator, you will define and oversee the overall testing approach, ensuring alignment with project roadmaps, release schedules, and business expectations. You will coordinate testing activities across internal and external stakeholders, supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure high-quality delivery throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also contribute to the evolution of automation practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining test strategies, planning test campaigns, and coordinating execution activities;
• Managing regression, integration, system, E2E, and UAT testing;
• Leading and coaching onshore and offshore testing teams;
• Monitoring defects, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics while driving issue resolution;
• Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, developers, and external partners;
• Producing clear reporting, dashboards, and Go/No-Go recommendations for stakeholders;
• Ensuring testing governance, standards, and methodologies are consistently applied;
• Supporting the integration of automated testing into the broader QA strategy;
• Participating actively in Agile ceremonies and ensuring user stories are testable and aligned with quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for a consultant with strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities, combined with a solid technical QA background. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in large-scale environments with multiple moving parts.

Required experience and skills:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software testing experience, including at least 3 years in test coordination or test management roles;
• Proven experience managing complex testing initiatives and distributed/offshore teams;
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance best practices;
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ALM, TestRail, Postman, and SQL;
• Knowledge of defect lifecycle management, test reporting, and risk mitigation;
• Understanding of test automation principles and experience collaborating with automation specialists;
• ISTQB/ISEB certification;
• Excellent communication skills in English and either Dutch or French;
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Additional Information

Experience within transportation, infrastructure, or planning-intensive operational environments is considered a strong asset. The assignment requires onsite presence in Belgium two days per week. Candidates with previous experience as Test Manager, QA Lead, UAT Lead, or Test Coordinator in complex enterprise environments are highly encouraged to apply.
