Test Manager CMS

Function

We’re currently looking for an experienced Test Manager to join our client’s large-scale transformation program within a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and governing the overall testing approach across a multi-vendor, multi-domain ecosystem, ensuring high-quality releases, transparency, and predictable delivery outcomes.

As a key stakeholder within the program, you will drive quality assurance strategy, test governance, release readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with project leads, domain coordinators, QA experts, and technical teams to establish scalable and automation-driven testing practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Test Governance & Delivery

• Define and manage the overarching test strategy, governance framework, quality standards, and delivery approach across the program
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple domains, vendors, and parallel initiatives
• Validate release readiness and support go/no-go decisions based on risks, test evidence, quality indicators, and consolidated reporting
• Ensure alignment between legacy and modern platform testing approaches and release management processes
• Establish reusable quality baselines to improve release predictability and operational efficiency

Resource & Capacity Management

• Build and coordinate a network of domain test coordinators and testing teams
• Define clear roles, responsibilities, and collaboration models across all testing stakeholders
• Oversee test capacity planning and resource allocation across initiatives
• Align testing priorities and staffing with program timelines, risks, and business objectives

Quality Assurance & Test Automation

• Drive risk-based testing strategies supported by automation and CI/CD integration
• Promote shift-left testing principles and built-in quality practices from analysis and design phases onward
• Ensure testing environments are production-like, automation-ready, and consistent across domains
• Encourage the use of mocks, stubs, comparative testing, and shadow runs to improve release confidence and production readiness
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing and improve efficiency through reusable frameworks, tooling, and standardized approaches

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Test Manager within large-scale enterprise or transformation programs
• Strong background in multi-vendor and multi-domain delivery environments
• Solid expertise in test governance, release management, quality assurance, and test automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern QA methodologies
• Strong understanding of risk-based testing, comparative testing, and production readiness validation
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams
• Analytical, structured, and proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and delivery quality
• Passion for innovation in testing and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices
