Test Officer/Analyst

Function

We are looking for an experienced Test Officer / Test Analyst to join a dynamic team within a large organization in the insurance sector. You will be involved in supporting and testing applications within life insurance-related projects, contributing to both new product development and process improvements.

Project Context

You will be part of a team of approximately 8 testers working across various testing projects. The team operates under the guidance of a Test Coordinator and collaborates closely with Business Analysts and Functional Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and functional requirements into structured test scenarios
• Design, organize, and execute test plans and test cases
• Prepare and manage test data in alignment with the defined test strategy
• Identify, log, track, analyze, and retest defects using available tools
• Contribute to testing activities across application projects (e.g., new products, process updates)
• Work with modern testing frameworks and methodologies

Profile

• Senior-level experience as a Test Analyst / Test Officer
• ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is required
• Experience with structured testing methodologies
• Familiarity with modern testing tools and frameworks
• Experience in automated testing is a plus
• Experience in waterfall and/or hybrid agile environments
• Experience in life insurance is a plus, not mandatory

Languages

• Dutch and/or French preferred

Working Conditions

• Hybrid work model: 2 days on-site per week
