Test Specialist

Function

Our client is looking for an experienced test professional to contribute to the quality assurance of business-critical and non-business-critical applications. The assignment requires a solid background in structured testing, strong familiarity with test tools, and the ability to work with a formal and methodical approach to quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Test small business-critical applications and larger applications that are not business-critical.
• Apply formal test methods and techniques to support structured quality assurance.
• Perform functional testing as part of the validation process.
• Use specialist testing suites or tools where relevant.
• Work with test management tooling to organize and track testing activities.

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a test specialist.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing.
• Experience with a test management tool such as Jira.
• Experience with formal test methods and techniques.
• Experience with a test automation tool such as Postman.
• Knowledge of specialist testing suites or tools.
• ISTQB Foundation certification is required.
• Knowledge of test automation is considered a plus.

Profile

• Strong and demonstrable experience in testing business-critical or larger non-business-critical applications.
• Confident working in a structured testing environment.
• Capability to combine functional testing expertise with the use of testing tools.
• Motivated to contribute to quality-focused delivery in a professional setting.

Practical Information

• Language requirement: fluent Dutch at CEFR level C2.
• This opportunity falls within the framework of a reserved public procurement assignment.
