Testing Automation Specialist

We're looking for a Senior Tester to join our client's team, supporting the development and enhancement of critical application components across both front-end and back-end environments. This role involves working within a dynamic team responsible for payment and finance solutions, including accounting, billing, and reconciliation functionalities.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Tester, your key duties will include:

• Crafting comprehensive test plans and defining acceptance criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams for each iteration.
• Designing and executing both integration and end-to-end (E2E) tests.
• Automating the execution of newly created tests and maintaining existing integration and E2E test cases.
• Evaluating and prioritizing detected bugs, ensuring accurate reporting and resolution.
• Providing critical feedback to support the development and analysis process.
• Organizing and contributing to user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Proactively proposing improvements to the application area under your responsibility.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in:

• Test automation techniques and frameworks.
• Object-oriented programming languages, with a strong focus on Java.
• XML and SQL, including complex queries with multi-table joins and delta operations.
• REST and SOAP exchanges.
• Version control systems such as Git.
• Agile methodologies and the organization of testing campaigns.

Additional assets include:

• ISTQB, TMAP, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with TDD/BDD practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Playwright, MockServer, Postman, Cucumber, and Serenity.
