UI/UX Designer

Function

We're looking for a skilled professional to join our client's team, where you'll contribute to a complex technological landscape involving traditional applications and modern components. The role entails supporting significant transformations in IT architecture, technical debt reduction, cloud adoption, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will involve working on the design and implementation of a cohesive style guide that addresses various interface elements, including lists, buttons, side navigation bars, and headers. You will also strive to enhance existing layouts, making them more intuitive and user-friendly by optimizing list views leading to detailed views, as well as structuring navigation elements effectively.

Role and Profile

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing themes for complex Angular applications and will be well-versed in Angular components. A strong familiarity with responsive design and web accessibility standards is crucial, and proficiency in front-end development would be an advantage. We seek someone with excellent analytical and synthesis skills, capable of effective communication and understanding the broader picture while ensuring quality and demonstrating a proactive approach.

Technical and Language Requirements

• Confirmed experience (7+ years) in designing themes for complex Angular applications
• Expertise in modern Java technologies (Spring, microservices, API-driven, event-driven)
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards

Fluency in both Dutch and French is required. A master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
