UX Designer

Function

We're looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our client's digital team and help create intuitive, accessible and user-centred digital solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts and developers to design seamless user experiences across web and mobile applications. From user research to high-fidelity prototyping, you will ensure that every solution is both visually engaging and aligned with user needs and accessibility standards.

The Role

As a UX Designer, you will be involved throughout the complete design lifecycle, from discovery to delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting user research and participating in requirements gathering to gain a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives.
• Planning and executing research activities, including interviews, surveys, focus groups and usability testing.
• Translating research findings into user-centred design solutions.
• Creating low- and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes and interface designs using a mobile-first approach.
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to ensure design concepts are successfully implemented.
• Reviewing applications to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and UX best practices.
• Maintaining and evolving the organisation's design system to ensure consistency across digital products.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders through clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a creative and analytical UX professional with a passion for designing intuitive digital experiences. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary Agile teams and are comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience in UX design for web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of user research techniques, usability testing and interaction design.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes and user flows.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in both Dutch and French.
