Function

Our client is looking for two UX research and strategy consultants to help define a reusable, cross-functional UX framework for digital services used by a wide and diverse audience. The assignment focuses on building a structured approach to user research, evaluation, and guidance that can be applied both to internal business applications and public-facing services.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to a transversal UX initiative by helping the organization identify user groups, determine the appropriate level of UX effort per project, and provide practical methods and tools that teams can reuse across initiatives.

  • Map the different audiences using the organization’s digital services.
  • Conduct user research through interviews, observations, surveys, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and other relevant methods.
  • Identify user needs, usage patterns, and constraints.
  • Build personas and user profiles based on research findings.
  • Define an assessment framework to determine the required level of UX support per project.
  • Create a reusable UX toolkit with methods, guidance, and templates.
  • Define a methodology for testing solutions and measuring user experience when needed.
  • Support teams in integrating user research early in project framing.
  • Contribute UX insights that may inform the evolution of the existing Design System.

Profile

The ideal consultant is a seasoned UX researcher with strong strategic thinking and the ability to turn research insights into practical recommendations and working methodologies. Experience in large organizations or the public sector is considered an advantage.

  • Proven experience in UX research and user-centered design.
  • Strong command of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Experience with user interviews, focus groups, user testing, and research synthesis.
  • Ability to create personas, user journeys, and actionable UX frameworks.
  • Comfortable translating findings into concrete guidance, templates, and decision-making tools.
  • Knowledge of accessibility, inclusion, and Design Systems is a plus.
  • Experience with agile ways of working is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • User research methodologies: qualitative and quantitative research, interviews, focus groups, user journeys, personas.
  • Accessibility.
  • Agile.
  • Audience analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Matomo.
  • Prototyping and design tools such as Figma and FigJam.
  • User testing tools and approaches such as Maze and A/B testing.

Practical Information

The mission is conducted in French only. A hybrid working model applies, with a minimum of 50% on-site presence required. This is a long-term consulting opportunity.
